My Creative Camp at the NAMTA Show 2025 – Seattle Edition

Last week, My Creative Camp had the incredible opportunity to exhibit at the NAMTA (International Art Materials Trade Association) Show in Seattle—and what a colorful, creativity-filled experience it was!

Our goal for attending was simple: connect with buyers, network with fellow creatives and vendors, and spread the word about our fun and educational craft kits. And we’re thrilled to say—we did just that.

🎨 A Booth Full of Color and Creativity

Our stall was a vibrant burst of creativity, drawing in attendees with our signature paper quilling products and brand-new batik painting kits. We also introduced a series of “Pick Me Up” kits in fresh, fun designs.

Whether people stopped by for a quick chat or sat down for some hands-on crafting, there was always a smile and a spark of nostalgia in the air. Many visitors told us how our booth reminded them of their childhood days trying out paper quilling—and they loved the modern spin we’ve brought to it with updated designs and thoughtful packaging.

✂️ Mini Makes & Quilling Demos

To keep the creativity flowing, we had activity kits right at our booth! Guests could either make something on the spot or take a kit home for later. We also taught the basics of paper quilling to attendees who were curious or simply wanted a refresher—it was amazing to see how quickly people picked it up!

🗺️ The Scavenger Hunt Fun

One of the event highlights was our participation in the NAMTA Scavenger Hunt. Attendees had to find our booth, answer a fun question, and get their card stamped to be entered into a raffle. It brought a ton of new faces to our space and gave us even more chances to connect.

🤝 New Friends & Future Plans

We met amazing buyers, fellow vendors, and creative spirits—some of whom we’re already in touch with post-show. Even Erin Reed Makes stopped by our stall (you can catch us around 43:00 in her YouTube video), which was a real honor.

The excitement for our product lines (and our colorful stools!) confirmed that there’s a real hunger for hands-on, joyful crafting experiences. We’re walking away from NAMTA with new friends, great leads, and even more inspiration to keep doing what we love: making creativity accessible, fun, and memorable for all ages.

🌸 A Breath of Fresh Air in Seattle

Outside of the show floor, we also made time to enjoy the beauty Seattle had to offer. The crisp, fresh air was such a refreshing change of pace—and we couldn’t resist a stroll through the University of Washington, where the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. It was breathtaking!

Amid all the networking and showcasing, this bit of nature time was much needed. It reminded us of why we do what we do—creating with intention, slowing down, and soaking in life’s little moments.

Stay tuned—we have more coming soon!
